This one-of-a kind girl was our pick of the litter from our 2018 Fall Hope x Deshka litter. She got a gorgeous dark golden, silky soft coat, nice blocky head and built very stoutly. From day one, I was drawn to that little purple collar girl and and it only grew stronger as the weeks went by and I knew that she was the 'one'. From that moment on she's been my shadow and is just the sweetest most loving and loyal girl. She is a huge snuggler and her favorite thing to do in the morning is leap onto the bed for a few minutes of morning lovin' before it's time to get the day started - but she's also MORE than happy to sleep in too and she will definingly has a mind of her own and will let you know that she's not ready to get up yet by just staying in bed and just giving me the "look" even if everyone else is up and at'em at which of course I oblige and let her lay there a little bit longer! She is also the QUEEN of the infamous Golden Retriever side-eye ... omg she takes that look to another degree! Lol.
She's extremely athletic, LOVES anything to do with water - be it swimming in a lake or swimming in my horse water trough - if its water then that's right up her alley. She's got a protective side to her, but quickly realizes that she's a big chicken when everyone else looks at her and says "Ok, yeah P ... go get 'em". She is SUPER smart too and has an amazing vocabulary and LOVES to communicate. I have full blown conversations with this girl and I swear she knows every word I'm saying and she's always asking questions ... especially when it's "Mom, so-in-so is done with their meal, so may I please have the rest?" She's such a good girl that she hardly ever takes it upon herself to clean up a bowl - 99% of the time she asks! I've even caught her sitting ever-so patiently by someone's bowl drooling and just starring at me - asking if it's "ok?" Every day she is more and more like her Dad, my beloved boy Deshka and I'm so thankful that I have her to keep those memories of him front and center.
Unfortunately little miss didn't pass her OFA eye certifications to our standards so she was spayed and is now just one of my bestest buddies that just gets to enjoy being a very well loved pup ... and is a GREAT Auntie to all of our puppies (she just LOVES them)!
