We met Goose in early 2025 (by total chance) when we were looking for a possible stud to breed Grace to for her Spring litter. When we arrived at Galaxies Kennel to meet Klaus, out come these 3 adorable almost 5 month old brothers tagging along behind dad. I immediately told myself "don't look at the puppies, don't look at the puppies ..." as we did not have any plans of adding another dog to our pack at the time ... but needless to say, that didn't last long. We did good though initially .. we actually managed to meet everyone and leave without any new acquisitions! However that only lasted until about 1/2 way back to Palmer and we called and said ... "we're heading to the ATM - we'll be back in about 15 minutes for him!" Lol. And I don't regret any part of that decision!
Goose is quite the amazing fella! He's got his soft gentle demeanor from his dad (Klaus) but also has this incredibly funny goofy side to him ... and he knows it too! He loves to play and especially loves his most favorite game in the world - keep away - and will run and run with some sort of coveted toy in his mouth talking to anyone who will listen saying "chase ME!" He is a total people dog too and has never met a stranger he didn't just LOVE ... and kids - that love is ten-fold. If he hears a kid somewhere, I have to contain his enthusiasm to just run to them to say hi. At the time of writing his bio, he's only 1.5 years old and is all sorts of teenage boy so he's a little full of himself and we're working on having him remember that even though he's still a baby ... he's an 80 lb BABY and easy and gentle are the key to all sorts of human love! I took him through basic and advanced obedience classes when we first got him to help get him up to speed, and quickly realized that in addition to him hopefully being a future stud dog of BWG, he would be an amazing therapy dog as well. So that is what we'll be working on getting certified for during Summer 2026 and I can't wait to have him share his special soul with others!
We are truly blessed to have him as part of our family and excited for what the future unfolds for him and us! We will be offering him up for Stud Services to a limited number of approved outside females starting in Summer of 2027. If you are interested, please reach out early as you can to discuss options.
